Soupapalooza - Where The Wild Things Are
SOUPAPALOOZA `WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE' BENEFIT SET FOR OCT. 27
Area restaurants will compete at Scotch Hill Farm in Cambridge during ACTT Naturally's “Soupapalooza” on Saturday, October 27 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
The soup competition will benefit ACTT Naturally, a thoroughbred rescue and re-training operation that also provides unique healing programs for veterans and their families, women and teens.
Interested participants have until October 15 to submit registration and $25 to enter their soups. Winners will be determined by popular vote and the top three finishers will earn prizes. All participants are encouraged to bring menus and business cards.
The venue for Soupapalooza is Scotch Hill Farm, former estate of the late Maurice Sendak, author of the seminal children's book “Where The Wild Things Are.” Scotch Hill Farm is located at 106 Scotch Hill Road, Cambridge.
Argyle Brewing Company will attend this event, serving their handcrafted beer, and live music will be provided by Deena Chappell. This is a family friendly event, with a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a demonstration in ACTT Naturally’s unique training program with former race horses.
Tickets are available for pre-purchase online for $25 or $35 the day of the event.
