Local Author Melissa Trombetta’s The Summer Place to Be Now Available at Impressions of Saratoga, Benefiting Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga
Melissa Trombetta writes emotionally grounded contemporary romance about second chances, reinvention, and the kind of love that shows up when you least expect it. Her latest novel, The Summer Place to Be, is set in a fictional town inspired by Saratoga Springs, where she grew up—shaped by summers at the track, nights at SPAC, and the comforting and complicated pull of coming home.
Through this local partnership, a portion of proceeds from each book sold will benefit Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga, connecting readers to both a Saratoga-inspired story and a meaningful community impact.
Trombetta will be at Impressions of Saratoga, Saturday July 11, 2026 from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm. for a book signing event. Guests are encouraged to stop by, meet the author, and pick up a signed copy of The Summer Place to Be, all while supporting retired racehorses and the mental health and wellness programs that Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga provides right here in our community.
A Saratoga Springs High School graduate (’91), Melissa is a wife, mother of two grown children, and a longtime corporate professional who can usually be found at a country music festival, dancing like no one is watching.
