Get ready for a day of sweet adventure at the 23rd Annual Maple in April Festival! Nestled along Rockwell Street in Hadley, NY, this free, family-friendly extravaganza is bursting with fun activities that celebrate the magic of maple.
From sap to syrup, experience live maple demonstrations, savor the taste of everything maple, and don’t miss out on our famous HBA’s Scholarship French Toast breakfast.
But that’s not all - rev up your engines for the Lil' Sugar Dust Off car, truck AND tractor show, ride the Horse Drawn Wagon rides, hang out with Forest Ranger Hess and Smokey the Bear or hop on board the Blue Roaming Train. Explore farm life, cuddle with family pets, browse through an array of craft and food booths, while kids dive into a world of fun with activities crafted just for them such as face paintings and bounce houses.
Highlight of the festival includes the Backyard Maple Syrup Makers contest. If you pride yourself on your homemade maple syrup and have less than 150 taps within a 50-mile radius of Hadley, NY, this is your chance to shine and claim bragging rights for the Best Tasting Syrup! Cap off an unforgettable day with the American Legion Maple Pork Dinner at the Hadley Senior/Community Center from 4 PM to 6:30 PM, where the savory goodness of maple-infused pork will tantalize your taste buds and provide the perfect sweet-savory end to a day of celebration.
