Italian-American Day<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrate Italian-American Day at the Race Course on Wednesday, presented by Aperol Spritz. This day-long event will feature traditional Italian music, dance, food, entertainment, and games at the Coca-Cola Saratoga Pavilion.<\/p>\n

Thursday, August 9<\/h2>\n

Saratoga Stakes Race: NYSS Statue of Liberty<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Place your bets for the NYSS Statue of Liberty Division!<\/p>\n

Fabulous Fillies Day<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s Fabulous Fillies Day will celebrate women and their contributions to the thoroughbred racing industry. One of the day’s highlights will be the Sizzling Hot Pink Saratoga Hat Luncheon. Funds raised during the event will support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.<\/p>\n

Aperol Thursdays at The Post<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On Thursday, racetrack guests are invited to sample Aperol Spritz cocktails at The Post Bar from 3:30pm-5:30pm.<\/p>\n

Taste NY: Cider, Wine & Spirits<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

At Thursday’s Taste NY, guests will have the chance to sample an awesome selection of cider, wine, and spirits from NY State craft beverage producers. The tasting will be offered from 12:00pm-5:00pm and accompanied by live music.<\/p>\n

Friday, August 10<\/h2>\n

Saratoga Stakes Race: Tale of the Cat<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Place your bets for the Tale of the Cat!<\/p>\n

Taste NY: Craft Beer<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Want to sample a great selection of craft beers that are produced right here in New York State? If so, then stop by the Coca-Cola Saratoga Pavilion from 12:00pm-5:00pm for Taste NY: Craft Beer. Guests will be able to enjoy five samples for $5.<\/p>\n

Woodford Reserve Bourbon Fridays at The Post<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

After the day’s final race, Race Course guests are invited to enjoy bourbon cocktails and play trivia at The Post Bar. This event will be sponsored by Woodford Reserve, and it will run from 6:00pm-8:00pm.<\/p>\n

Saratoga Challenges<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Saratoga Challenges will consist of two separate one-day contests on Friday and Saturday. Friday’s challenge will guarantee a first-place payout of $15,000, as well as entries to the\u00a02019 Belmont Stakes Challenge and the 2019 National Handicapping Championship.<\/p>\n

Saturday, August 11<\/h2>\n

Saratoga Stakes Races: Fourstardave Handicap & Adirondack<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Woodford Reserve and Jeff Brisbin at The Jim Dandy Ba<\/strong>r<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

On Saturday from 2:00pm-4:00pm, head to The Jim Dandy Bar if you’d like to sample the Woodford Reserve Saratoga Personal Selection. There will also be live music with Jeff Brisbin.<\/p>\n

Ketel One Saturdays at The Post<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Sample the new Ketel One Botanicals at The Post Bar from 3:00pm-5:00pm.<\/p>\n
